Pastor Reggie Hunt has a strong anointing for ministering to this generation; whether it is with high school students, college students, athletes, or families. A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Pastor Reggie Hunt graduated from Appalachian State University. Upon graduation in 2000, Pastor Hunt felt the Lord calling him into full time ministry. Out of obedience he made his home in the High Country, where his heart and passions are for God’s Kingdom and His people.
Prior to establishing Cornerstone Summit, Pastor Hunt led the youth of western North Carolina in several different capacities. In 1995, with a few others, He helped lay the foundation for a high school outreach ministry, known as Young Life. He also served as the District Youth Pastor, establishing youth groups throughout the region.
Crossing cultural barriers and drawing people from diverse backgrounds, Pastor Hunt ministers the message of the Kingdom: excellence, spiritual growth, strong faith, and relationships.
Pastor Hunt has also been given the opportunity to impact the University Community. He is actively involved on Appalachian’s campus serving as the full time chaplain of both the football and men’s basketball teams, and has been a part of three National Championships.
In 2004, Pastor Hunt planted Cornerstone Summit Church. Since its beginning, the Summit has experienced supernatural growth, and continues to grow and minister to several hundred students per week.
His wife, Mrs. Julie Hunt, serves beside him in ministry through her support, dedication, commitment, and prayer. Together they have three sons.
