On Friday, Sept. 28, Hurricane Helene caused massive damage across the southern United States. Severe damage throughout Boone and the low-country region has occurred as a result. The church did not have damage but the immediate surrounding area had severe impacts. Cornerstone Summit will hold its regular Sunday service as scheduled and food will be available after service for those in need following service while supplies last.
There are three ways you can help in the recovery efforts. First, by giving financially, use the link below and select Mission Boone under the Fund type. Second, we will collect items and act as a distribution center for items the individuals in the community may need. The list of items we are collecting is below. Third, we will be asking for volunteers to help us organize and distribute the items collected. You can use the form below to let us know your availability.
If you are in the area and have a need, please reach out to us so we can connect and find out how we can help. Please keep our church family and all those affected by this storm in your prayers.
Market will be open for families:
Tuesday 10/22: 11am-6pm with BBQ lunch for the community
Friday 10/25: 4pm-6:30pm
Here are items we are collecting and distributing to those in need during this recovery time. Drop-off times at the church will be posted here when available. If you have a need, please reach out using the form below.
